Jr. Lifeguard Program

The Aqua Boss Junior Lifeguard (Jr. Guard) program is a summer youth program for ages 8 to 17 at Kennedy Community Pool. Participants learn pool, ocean, and aquatic safety, along with first aid, CPR, and physical fitness, while building self-esteem, leadership skills, and appreciation for the marine environment.

Kennedy Jr. Guards work with KCP Jr. Lifeguard Program instructors and shadow KCP guards during working hours at Kennedy Community Pool. At the end of the summer, Aqua Boss Jr. Lifeguards will have an opportunity to enroll in American Red Cross Lifeguard certification.
